Moore WoodTech is a family-owned business based in Downtown Silver Spring, MD. We specialize in custom carved wood crafts and art for homes and small businesses.

Our vision is to bring out the natural beauty of wood and turn it into art. We use a combination of traditional and modern techniques to enhance the beauty of wood. We take great pride in our work. Anything we make we'd be proud to display in our own home or store. Our woodcrafts are all one-of-a-kind handmade pieces crafted using only the finest materials and finishes.

Our story

Our story starts with woodworking roots going back more than five generations. James Moore immigrated to the US from England and opened a lumbermill in central Michigan in the 1860's. Thomas Moore immigrated to the US from Ireland opening a sawmill in South Norwich, Canada in the 1850's.
